June Auction 2026 – The Results

On the evening of Tuesday 9th June 2026, we held another successful auction at The View in Wootton Wawen.

Originally, five lots were scheduled to be offered. However, two were sold prior to the auction for sums well in excess of their guide prices, one lot was withdrawn (with a sale expected in the coming days) and another has been postponed until our next auction on 7th July 2026.

As a result, just one lot was offered on the night. Despite this, and the fact that the weather was somewhat “all over the place”, there was a strong turnout of prospective purchasers, all keen to bid on the substantial farmhouse known as Aardvark House. Set within some 1.84 acres and situated close to the popular residential location of Dickens Heath, the property also offered the opportunity to purchase a further 0.21 acres.

RESULTS:

LOT 1: Aardvark House, Braggs Farm Lane, Nr. Dickens Heath, B90 1RD

Guide Price: £575,000+

Bidding commenced at a very respectable £600,000 and lively competition soon ensued between several interested parties. As a series of bids drove the price steadily upwards, the hammer eventually fell at £702,000. The successful purchaser also agreed to acquire the additional parcel of land for a fixed sum of £60,000.

Our next collective land and property auction is scheduled for Tuesday 7th July 2026 and we, currently, have three lots in this sale.
