On Tuesday 15th September 2026, we held our first auction of the autumn season at The View in Wootton Wawen, with proceedings commencing promptly at 6:30pm.

On what was a lovely sunny autumn evening, the room was soon filled with a mixture of keen bidders and those there to observe. By the time the firm’s established and knowledgeable auctioneer, Richard Abbey, took to the rostrum, there was a real sense of anticipation in the air!

Three lots were offered for sale on the night. The first lot was a good-sized parcel of old-established permanent pasture, conveniently located near Knowle. The second was a substantial detached house requiring full refurbishment, situated in the delightful village of Broom, near Alcester. The third and final lot was an excellent block of woodland, primarily planted with Norway Spruce and Douglas Fir, located just outside Earlswood and within easy reach of the M42 (J3).

RESULTS:

LOT 1: 4.97 Acres off Kixley Lane, Knowle, B93 0JF

Guide Price: £100,000+

The bidding commenced at £80,000 and after some spirited back-and-forth, the gavel came down at a very satisfactory £125,000.

LOT 2: 15 Mill Lane, Broom, Nr. Alcester, B50 4HR

Guide Price: £350,000+

Guide Price: £100,000+

Bidding opened at £100,000, but it was not long before multiple determined bidders were competing, with the price rapidly climbing upwards and the gavel eventually falling at an impressive £250,000.
