On Tuesday 6th December 2022, we held our final auction of the year at The View. The room was generously filled with people and the mulled wine and mince pies went down exceptionally well!
We had seven lots in the auction and they were as follows:
Lot One – The Lodge, Nuthurst Grange Lane, Hockley Heath, B94 5NL
We got off to a great start with plenty of vibrant energy around the room. Offers were coming in from all sides. Bidding began at £250,000 and the gavel eventually fell at an impressive £430,000.
Lot Two – 12 Spring Lane, Hockley Heath, B94 6QX
This detached bungalow presented a real opportunity for a new owner to implement with planning permission that has been granted to refurb and reconfigure. Richard started the bidding at £200,000 and it sold for £290,000.
Lot Three – The Gables, Broadway Road, Willersey, WR12 7PH
This Grade II listed, detached, character four bedroomed stone built property with cottage lies in the picturesque Cotswold village of Willersey gathered a lot of interest. Bidding began at £500,000 and after some very strong competition between bidders the gavel fell at £720,000!
Lot Four – Fairview and Six Bells Cottages, Cobley Hill, Alvechurch, B48 7DE

Lot Five – 4.40 Acres at Barton Road, Welford-on-Avon, CV37 8HG
Bidding commenced at £50,000 with the gavel finally falling at £90,000.
Lot Six – 16.989 Acres at Braggington Lane, Welford-on-Avon, CV37 8BD
With a guide price of £125,000, the hammer eventually fell at an astounding £390,000!
Lot Seven – Three Way Cottage, 2 Salter Street, Hockley Heath, B94 6DQ
This property was an exciting investment opportunity. It did sell on the night but it was after the auction for a healthy price.
