July Auction 2019 – The Results

On Tuesday 9th July 2019, we reached the halfway point in our auction season, at Henley Golf Club. We had another excellent turnout – the room was bustling with bidders and bystanders all eager to get in on the action. With seven lots having been put forward for auction, it made for a very entertaining and jam-packed evening!

The lots were:

Lot 1 – 0.25 Acres of Amenity Land at Ash Lane, Alvechurch, Worcestershire, B48 7TS
It was a great start to the evening with this lot surpassing its guide price of £25,000 and reaching £68,000!

Lot 2 – 4.04 Acres with Land and Buildings at Ullenhall Ridge, Ullenhall, Warwickshire, B95 5PW
Our success continued, with the above parcel of land exceeding its guide price of £120,000 and going for £184,000.

Lot 3 – 38.92 Acres of Mixed Woodland, Ponds & Tracks at Gorcott Hill, Warwickshire, B98 9ET
The estimated guide price for this lot was £390,000 (£8-10,000 per acre) and it went for £350,000 – which was nearly £9,000 per acre!

Lot 4 – 13.97 Acres of Pastureland General Purpose Building at Gorcott Hill, Redditch, Warwickshire, B98 9EN
This piece of land met its guide price of £150,000.

Lot 5 – 8 Acres of Pastureland with Buildings at Gorcott Hill, Redditch, Warwickshire, B98 9EN
On at a guide price of £120,000, it sold at auction at £160,000.

Lot 6 – 33.20 Acres of Land at White Pump Lane, Ullenhall, Henley-In-Arden, Warwickshire, B95 5RH
The sale of this property was agreed after the auction and so unfortunately the price achieved cannot be disclosed at this time.
Lot 7 – 70 Wood Bevington, Alcester, Warwickshire, B49 5LX
To end the night, we finished on the above lot which, since it was first marketed back in May, received high levels of interest as well as over 80 viewings. While the guide price was estimated at £165,000, the hammer ultimately went down at £202,000!
