On Tuesday 17th March 2026, we held our first auction of the year at The View in Wootton Wawen, which commenced promptly at 6:30pm.

It was a warm and pleasant spring evening, and on the approach to the venue, the surrounding countryside was brought to life by the sight of newborn lambs frolicking in the fields!

Although we do not usually hold an auction in March, the room was well attended for the two lots on offer. The first lot was a block of two garages located close to the town centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, while the second was a delightful barn conversion situated in the village of Barton, between Bidford-on-Avon and Welford-on-Avon.

RESULTS:

LOT 1: Two Garages to the Rear of 74 Evesham Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 9BE

Guide Price: £15,000+

The bidding commenced at a rather modest £10,000, but soon, three determined bidders competed, driving the price upwards, with the gavel finally falling at an impressive £35,000.

LOT 2: 1 Owlets End, Barton, Nr. Bidford-on-Avon, B50 4ND

Guide Price: £350,000+
