Lot One, an established meadow running down to a brook, with the bonus of an existing pole barn, got things off to a flying start with a number of bidders, and sold for a very satisfactory £57,000, 150% of the guide price.
The second lot, a four acre pasture with good access, achieved double its guide price at £112,000.
Lot Three, barns near Wythall with planning permission in place, drew an impressive number of very motivated bidders, finishing 25% above guide price at £366,000 with a keen battle to the finish.
A very different prospect, a traditional 1930’s family home in Bentley Heath near Knowle with great improvement potential, sold for £352,000 and brought the auction to a close on a high note, showing that the market remains buoyant in the residential sector.
Our next auction takes place on Tuesday June 17th at our stunning regular venue, The View, near Wootton Wawen. Full details are available on our website.
