On Tuesday 20th September 2022, we held our first auction of the autumn season at The View. A staggering eighteen lots were marketed, but the two lots at the Colebrook Priory/Lakeside Sites and all five lots at Parkfield Farm sold prior to the auction, whilst the two lots at Castle Road were withdrawn. Therefore, there were nine lots remaining and the running order was as follows:
To a well filled auction room, the auctioneer, Richard Abbey, first offered for sale 3.68 Acres at Cuttle Pool Lane.
Bidding commenced at £50,000 with the gavel finally falling at an incredible £145,000. This was a fantastic result and the vendor commented on how pleased they were.
Up next was 3.30 Acres at Dark Lane.
With a guide price of £75,000, the hammer eventually fell at an astounding £150,000.
After that were the two parcels of land at Chadwick End.
4.18 Acres (Lot 1) at Bakehouse Lane did sell on the night, but this was after the auction so, unfortunately, the sale price achieved cannot be disclosed at this time.
10.49 Acres (Lot 2) at Oldwich Lane West was guided at £150,000 and after plenty of bids from all over the room, it sold for £230,000.
Our penultimate lot was Regent Cottage.
The opening bid was £800,000 and after much back and forth, the gavel came down at a spectacular £1,255,000!
The final lot of the night was Moat House Farm, which was first offered as a whole and then in four lots.

Our next collective land and property auction is scheduled for Tuesday 18th October 2022. We look forward to seeing you there!
